Matrix–the new breed of access control

The administration of access rights just got even easier and manageable—thanks to Matrix. Matrix is the first module by GAT Management Solution which is a comprehensive, all-round software package for electronic time recording and access control. Matrix administers access rights as simply and clearly as a conventional mechanical locking system, but has all the advantages of an electronic system. Familiar functions from GAT Access Easy have been further improved; new and intelligent features have been created.

100 per cent compatibility; SQL basis

The perfect combination of Matrix and GAT Manager allows all the products in Gantner’s extensive hardware range to be fully integrated right from the start. SQL Express is available as a database for Matrix without licensing costs, and the ‘large’ MS SQL Server can also be used.

Thought through to the finest detail

Matrix has many more functions than GAT Access Easy. To make the software intuitive and to tailor it perfectly to the requirements of its intended users, features which GAT Access had, such as visitor administration and card printing, have been left out. These functions will be available as an individual module as part of the overall concept in GAT Management Solution. The user-friendliness is plain to see the first time you look at a screenshot: the effective visualization and intuitive operation mean that even a newcomer can operate Matrix in no time. Creating group rights is just as easy as allocating special permits.

The representation of entries, access attempts etc. is also customizable and clear. The software offers many different possibilities for filtering and visualization, using which it is hard to put a foot wrong. The operating calendar also combines the greatest range of functions with effortless operability, even if country or company-specific adjustments have to be made.

The Matrix software has been designed for small and medium-sized business and tailored to their specific requirements. Matrix performs best, therefore, in a system with 10 to 100 doors and 10 to 2,000 persons. But its limits are far higher. This makes Matrix the ideal solution for small and medium-sized businesses.
