Operation Christmas Child

Gantner

When the scent of cinnamon and pine branches fills the air, lights brighten the dark days, and the anticipation of Christmas becomes tangible, it is time to pause and think of others. For us at Gantner, this also means: it’s time once again for “Operation Christmas Child”. This initiative shows year after year that even small gestures can make a big difference.

What is Operation Christmas Child?

“Operation Christmas Child” is an international gift campaign in which filled shoeboxes are distributed to children in need. Whether it’s toys, clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, or heartfelt personal messages – each box is a token of care and appreciation. Since 1993, it has reached over 232 million children in more than 150 countries.

A Cause Close to Our Hearts at Gantner

At Gantner, “Operation Christmas Child” has become a cherished tradition. Every year, our employees enthusiastically pack shoeboxes, often together with their families. For many, it is a special feeling to bring a little joy to a child who might otherwise go without a gift.

Why This Initiative Matters to Us

In a world where crises, uncertainties, and challenges affect countless people, we at Gantner aim to consciously make a difference. “Operation Christmas Child” gives us a wonderful opportunity to give back. The campaign reminds us that helping others doesn’t have to be complicated or grand. Often, a few carefully chosen items, a little time, and a lovingly packed box are enough to bring happiness to a child at Christmas.

This spirit of generosity makes us proud. Together, we help bring children around the world a small but meaningful gift, and that is exactly what makes this initiative so valuable to us.
