At the Product Launch Event in September 2026, two new innovations were introduced that significantly simplify processes at access and distribution points. GT7 powered by XS4 Face adds facial recognition to the proven check-in system. The GWD7 automates the sorting and distribution of Gantner silicone wristbands, thereby supporting a fast, service-oriented reception process.

Convenient Check-In with Facial Recognition

GT7 powered by XS4 Face combines the proven GT7 terminal with an additional identification option: facial recognition. Members and visitors can use it to identify themselves quickly and contactlessly—in addition to RFID/NFC, QR codes, PINs, or SmartPass.

Registration takes place via an invitation-based, web-based process on the user’s own mobile device. On-site, the system verifies the user’s identity while the GT7 terminal evaluates access authorization and clearly displays the result. This creates a seamless check-in process that combines convenience for users with efficiency for operators.

GWD7

Automated wristband dispensing for seamless operations

The Gantner GWD7 wristband dispenser enables the automated sorting and distribution of Gantner Chip Band 20 wristbands. This allows facilities to reduce the workload at the reception desk, minimize wait times, and provide their guests with a hassle-free start to their visitor experience.

The GWD7 integrates seamlessly into networked processes related to access control, identification, and digital services. It is a particularly valuable addition in settings where a large number of visitors need to be reliably and quickly provided with the correct wristbands.

The compact machine automatically sorts the wristbands into the designated magazines and loads them in the same process, so that ready-made magazines are available for use at vendors and issuing stations. Operators of fitness clubs, swimming pools, spas and leisure parks can use it to better cope with peak times, serve their guests faster and relieve staff of monotonous routine tasks. Integrated into the existing Gantner system environment, the GWD7 ensures that wristbands are prepared in a structured and efficient manner – for smooth processes and a better visitor experience.

GT7

The GT7 terminal, optional with face recognition, fingerprint or barcode reader, stands out due to its features like RFID and NFC identification and its unique app concept. The apps can be uploaded onto the universal hardware and determine whether the device is used as an access, time, or info terminal.

With the corresponding app, our GT7 can also be used as a central terminal for managing locker locks. In this case, lockers can be selected and opened centrally via the GT7. The lock can then be operated directly at the locker or still be controlled via the terminal.
