THE CHALLENGE

101 Collins Street set out to create a tenant journey that feels intuitive, seamless and uninterrupted. With world-leading tenants and high expectations for usability, traditional access cards and fragmented systems were seen as barriers rather than enablers. Lockers – particularly within end-of-trip and wellness areas – needed to be secure, easy to use, and fully embedded into a single tenant experience, without requiring physical cards or multiple applications. At the same time, the solution had to align with the building’s premium brand and remain flexible as tenant needs evolved.

 

SOLUTION

In partnership with Gantner and app developer Kodaa, 101 Collins Street implemented a smart locker solution fully integrated into the building’s tenant app and mobile wallet environment. More than 700 Gantner lockers now support phone and wearable credentials, allowing tenants to access lockers with a simple tap – no cards, no apps, no disruption. Existing hardware was retained while software capabilities were expanded, ensuring a future-proof solution that delivers both an exceptional user experience and efficient, data-driven management for building operations.
