Member 24 operates a large network of modern fitness clubs across Sweden. To ensure secure and streamlined access for thousands of members, they rely on Gantner’s innovative access control technology – specifically, the GT7 series of terminals.

Each club location is equipped with our terminals, fully integrated into Member24’s club management system. This setup allows members to choose from several secure access methods: reverse QR code, fingerprint recognition, or RFID tag. The flexibility and reliability of these solutions are a key part of the Member 24 user experience.

The Challenge

As Member 24 expanded its presence in the Swedish fitness market, the company needed a robust and scalable access control system. The primary challenge was ensuring that only authorized members could access club facilities while minimizing the need for on-site staff intervention.

In addition, Member24 wanted to gain deeper insights into facility usage through access data. This would allow them to optimize staffing, facility layout, and service offerings based on actual member behavior and traffic patterns.

The Solution

Member24 originally relied on Gantner’s GAT Access 6000 series for member access. As their requirements evolved and Gantner launched the new GT7 series, an upgrade path was introduced. The switch to GT7 terminals allowed for the continuation of all existing use cases and enabled the integration of new technologies such as reverse QR code scanning.

Thanks to the modular and future-ready design of the GT7, Member 24 can now flexibly manage access across all their locations, ensuring high security and maximum convenience. The system’s seamless integration with their club management software enables real-time data collection and simplified daily operations.
