THE CHALLENGE
USZ set out to replace its assigned, key-based lockers with a modern electronic locker solution. The existing setup required significant administrative effort and offered little flexibility – especially given frequent staff movement between locations. At the same time, any new system needed to integrate seamlessly with the hospital’s existing access control infrastructure to maintain security and ease of use.
SOLUTION
Gantner deployed NET.Lock systems throughout all locker areas at USZ and connected them to the eLoxx Relaxx management software. This enables centralized control of all lockers, flexible assignment of access rights, and real-time visibility into available capacity. Seamless integration with the existing access control system ensures a consistent user experience, while staff benefit from secure, convenient, and location-independent access.
