Corona update - GANTNER remains operational16.03.2020
During the current Corona crisis, GANTNER continues to guarantee its services and support. We have taken the necessary internal measures to slow further spread of the virus; most colleagues work from home and we strictly observe hygiene guidelines at the office.
This has no impact on our customers. In recent years, GANTNER invested considerably in technological platforms that facilitate support all over the world and guarantee a continued service to our customers.
All employees will remain available, both by telephone and through the customer portal.
On-site meetings and interventions will not be cancelled by GANTNER for now and can take place on the condition that the guidelines issued by the government are respected. We, of course, encourage remote meetings if possible.
Products and supplies are still delivered each day and are not delayed for the moment. Only the delivery of personalised silicone wristbands is currently delayed.
We do advise, however, to order tickets, wristbands and plastic cards in time so that we can deliver them before you reopen.
Our IT partner HP recently published an interesting Corona guideline to clean your POS and administration PC’s. You can find this information here
If you have questions, you can, of course, always contact us.
Avifauna chooses GANTNER as its partner20.11.2019
The bird park Avifauna is an animal park in Alphen aan den Rijn (the Netherlands) which focuses mainly on birds.
Its name, Avifauna, refers to the part of the animal world (fauna) that consists of birds (Aves in Latin). Avifauna was the first and is, moreover, one of the most famous bird parks in the world.
The park has a lot of greenery and ponds, a restaurant, and a large playground with the highest traditional slide in the Netherlands. It is also possible to make a boat trip in the park. Avifauna used to be the property of the Van der Valk group but was turned into a foundation in the beginning of 2012. The Foundation Vogelpark Avifauna labours for bird and animal protection and has an ANBI status (Public Benefit Organisation).
Avifauna implemented GANTNER’s cash registers at the entrance, in the shop and indoor playground and also installed GANTNER’s access control system.

The Coventry Transport Museum selected GANTNER to set up the access control and ReCreateX POS systems.16.07.2019
Coventry Transport Museum houses the largest publicly owned collection of British vehicles on the planet and tells the story of a city which changed the world through transport.
The Coventry Transport Museum introduced annual admission charges from the beginning of this summer and selected GANTNER to set up the access control and Recreatex POS systems.
Free access to the museum – which is home to the two fastest cars on the planet and many of the most memorable vehicles of the last 200 years – is being maintained to all residents in Coventry through the new GoCV cards that have been launched by Coventry City Council. GANTNER developed a bespoke integration with the GOCV platform.
The Coventry Transport Museum, which attracts over 360,000 visitors a year, will use part of the additional income to refresh and enhance the attraction to ensure it remains attractive for people across the country to visit year after year.
As a result of the changes, visitors can expect to see some fundamental differences in the museum’s current offer, including an exciting new programme of temporary and touring shows from across the globe; the first of these being a highly immersive exhibition to inspire visitors of all ages and abilities to move, play and have fun.
